Not nice to tease the Big Bad Wolf !!

It’s not nice or wise to tease this big bad Wolf. A construction company foreman tried that Monday, but as of today they paid. A total of $250.00 green stamps. Guess they wont just shrug off a home owner saying they broke something due to their carelessness. Now If I’d have just rolled over and played complacent nothing would have happened, but with the growl of this big bad wolf, their insurance company forked over hard cash. Who says ya’ll cain’t win? It just depends on how much one howls. As a gal I knew once said it, its not how many acres you till, it depends on how deep you set the plow. In this case EOC out of Ontario Oregon felt the teeth of the AyreWolf.

Good news Good News!!!

Hey , I know its early in the day but I had to share this with ya’ll. A national book/novel publishing company called me and suggested I seek to get an agent. Reason? The publishing company wants to publish the Book –OF – AyreWolf. That’s right my book is going to get published. All the history of the club, my life, the radio stuff, all of it. Who knows maybe someday it’ll become a movie. If it does, I’m thinking Nick Cage to play me. That truly would be gone in 60 seconds wouldn’t it? So to Yahoo and a few others that wanted to snub their noses at the AyreWolvez and all, bet you’ll be asking for ye ole AyreWolf sooner than expected, wont ya’ll? Like it was said on Major Payne the movie, “ Whose the dummies now?”

Found it, Katy Perry’s new vid is the background Jingle

It took me awhile, but I found it. Major Kozloski and I were sitting here at the current Wolf’s Lair watching the CW, as that’s all one gets here in go nowhere western Idaho, more on that in a few other blogs But so we were watching the local CW and that new jingle of the CW comes on, for the new shows rolling out on the CW this fall. I knew I had heard the tune elsewhere but did not know where. It does help if you have the title rather than just the lyrics, but so it went. The new jingle is a montage of the tune done by Katy Perry with Snoop Dog, called California Gurlls (their spelling not mine). But I found it and its out on You Tube. So added it to the play list of AyreWolf Radio.

Alrighty then, found could not get on our webs.com site, seems as though webs.com was down but will check later and if need be give em a jingle, with a good bitchin session. Tried to hook up a site for the HCTTA, /Highway Hooker, and that might be the grind. Again will check into it and let ya’ll know. If nothing else I’ll pay for our spot on ning, and keep that rolling.

Getting back to Katy Perry, for a Preachers daughter she’s done damn good. Going from a MySpace posting to superstar.

Finally here, talked to Ellie May, today on the phone. I still say if the situation was a bit tweaked and her hubby were not in the picture, Ellie May and I would be hitched in nothing flat. I could be wrong, but I’m not far from the earthly truth there. Any flyte, Nurse GoodBody sezz that she thinks that there are organic ways to solve my PTSD stuff, not that Seroquel, so going to tell the shrink today, no on the suggested meds. I trust completely what Ellie May tells me. I have told here the honest truth from takeoff to the soaring heights she and I reached. I truly think if I can get this radio werx gig in and on the ayre she’ll jump back in the plane, so-to-speak. Ellie May even told me she found me a family treasure that’s right up my alley that she’s going to give me next week when she comes over.

To bring this into my final here, seems as though every damn time I try to reinvent the site or sites, shit gets all jammed up. Seems as though, I’m stuck both flying and toewing, so that being what that is and given that will be my main operation in Utah with Cuzzin Gordon, I’m sticking with all things AyreWolf. As one radio sales guy who also was one of my recruiters going into the Marines, you don’t screw with number 1, so I give up. I’m getting a tat with the AyreWolf logo and make it permanent .

An invasion from Oregon

An invasion entered Bliss lately, but ye ole AyreWolf here threw a curve ball that is really going to hurt. The dillweeds from Oregon who was contracted by Bliss to do the earth moving work for the sewer system here, yesterday, rumbled ye ole Wolf’s Lair here so bad my beginning collection of Confederate plates came loose off the wall, fell on the floor and shattered, to pieces. So being dutiful I cleaned the pieces up, and took em out to the trash, so told the foreman this morning, about it and he said oh well. But the same construction company also tore out the curb here at the complex, plus uprooted the underground watering system, and that’s the short list. Of course I swiftly called the manager of the property here took pics and I’m sure that the construction company will get an ear full in the morning. Even my neighbors here and most of Bliss are not too happy, with this outfit. I think I’m going to speak to old Hazzard’s  mayor this week and see if I can head off the progress of this construction company. It’s not good to piss off ye ole Wolf.  the home front. Got a email from Cuzzin Bud today, he found me a pad in Midvale Utah, so looks like I’m finally out of here. Wonder if the jerx will stop their shit, after I’m out of here like they promised or if they are like other Yankee’s who talk out the side of mouth, with no intent of keeping promises. But the U-Haul is outside the Wolf’s Lair here so, need to stay at packing and all. All I know is, its 14 days and counting then no more go nowhere Idaho.

Ya’ll just gotta love small kountry town life

Ya’ll just got to love small kountry town life. Would ya’ll know it just as I had climbed into the shower some construction outfit in installing our new sewer system, cuts a main water line that purtty much left the rest of the town parched, to say the least. I guess someone forgot to let the construction company in on the antiquated water supply system of Bliss Idaho. Now as I begin to look at both Bliss, what was Hazzard and most of Gooding County, I see the reasons that many forward thinking people as well as progress minded people are not in a big rush to move to dear sweet western Gooding County.(Remember, Hazzard County moved to southwest of Strevelle Malta). Now progress is one of those things that is hard to swaller by many in Idaho. No matter big city or quiet kountry town , many in Idaho , outside of Boise do not want the areas to grow, either in population or mind expansion. After all , don’t want anything of a radical, or rebellious thought moving here. The basic idea is what created the hate I got in GF, from many who didn’t even live in GF. This is just the tip of the fishing pond.  There are way too many people who do not want Idaho at least east and somewhat south of Boise to grow in technology as well as population. The mind sets are that if folks want growth go to Utah or elsewhere, not rural retirement village senior citizen Idaho.  If ya’ll want to farm fine, ya’ll come, anything else sezz get the fork out. Campaigns from Buy Idaho, to Buy Local and more go on TV all the time, problem is those buy local things are falling on deaf ears since there are no longer anywhere to buy the products or services. Its not just commerce either. Up near Blaine County, seems there is a fuss regarding the expansion of a new Airport there. The problem is many don’t want it in their back yard that is scenic as many who build there want it to be left that way, as well as the FAA is saying build new or we’re closing what ya’ll got, cain’t have both. What will this mean? Many of those who fly in for winter ski trips and recreation will fly into either Gooding’s Airport of Twin Falls ’s Airport. then drive by ground transport to Sun Valley. Many of them out of staters don’t want to drive by all those farms digging taters, so guess what, they be going elsewhere. But it’s not just the ski fans, nope, movie production firms that come into rub arms with Demi Moore, Bruce Willis , Aston Kercher and others to conceive new movie projects will march to Utah that has a better organized Film Commission. Too bad though, as when a major film moves in many including AyreWolf Aviation as well as Santini Air, make damn good money doing film work. Stunt flying etc. Car collectors and car clubs get a shot in the arm for supplying rides to depict a scene or era, and many people make money from doing walk on and working as Extra’s on a film project. But if they all make it hard for Hollywood to come to Idaho, Hollywood will reroute to Utah. Like I said ya’ll, ya’ll just got to love small kountry town life.

Ez Smoker Huh?

Saw this thing on TV about a product called EZ Smoker. This device is supposed to simulate the sensation of smoking . According to the ad, its a battery coupled to a steam generator that when you suck on it, the damn thing creates water vapor. According to the TV ad, the thing produces no tar, or the poisons of a cig, and also has no nicotine. In fact the thing does not contain any tobacco. My question what the hell is it good for? If your smoking your going for the nicotine rush. If the damn thing has no nicotine or tobacco why would anyone spend $150.00 or as in the TV ad offer $25.00 ? Its almost like getting a notice from Yahoo.com telling me they are looking into the problem with the ayre clubs email account. Saying they are escalating the case. Which is nearly like a Mormon Bishop telling you to trust him. Which means nothing is going to happen. It’s almost like the kid with the puppies. See this kid had a mama dog , that had puppies. The kids mom told the kid, can’t have all these puppies, so the kid loads up the puppies into a Red Flyer wagon with a sign on it saying FREE MORMON PUPPIES. A area Mormon bishop sees the wagon and sign and comes up to the kid, and gives the kid a pat on the back. Three weeks go by, and the same kid with the puppies comes traipsing along with the puppies and the wagon, cept now it says FREE protestant Puppies. The Mormon Bishop comes greets the boy and asks, a few weeks ago the sign said free Mormon Puppies, now its Free Protestant puppies what’s the deal? The kid replies, “ Two weeks ago the puppies hadn’t yet had they eyes opened”.  In essence were not knowledgeable to things that ultimate trust in anyone brings. Ultimate trust brings trouble. Ultimate trust depletes a bank account, takes up valuable time and breaks ones spirit. Outside of the AyreWolvez and a few of the Knytes, I don’t trust nobody, or anything. But that’s a subject for a different entry. My question though is, why would anyone buy a product like EZ Smoker, when it isn’t a smoke at all? If its that EZ to con America, I need a better racket.

How can so many people be so damn dumb?

If I have said it once, I’ll say it again, why are so many people so damn dumb on the subjects they say they are interested in? Case-n-point, the PSR I got from Alliance Family Services in Twinky Flatts, says he’s a serious gearhead, but how can anyone that claims to be a GearHead, not know who Boyd Coddington , George Barris, Big Daddy Roth, Bruce Nyborg or Terry Applegate, Chip Foose is? For that matter , one who says they are into serious Military Aviation history not know who Pappy Boyington is? The same PSR says he’s a long time OTR trucker, yet had no idea the other day when we were talking in the car, who Dave Dudley, Red Simpson, Red Sovine , or even C.W. McCall is. Why put someone like that together with me? Granted the young man is only 35 years old, Granted he’s more a phsyc major than a serious GearHead, or Military Aviation buff,  but if your matching someone with someone who is all the above, why not at least educate the boy on these subjects? There is an old saying that borders on the Prime Directive that says for us to have patience with inferior species, and all, but it just grinds me the wrong way. For that matter lets review the progress of this endeavor so far. Alliance takes damn near two months or better just to find a PSR, to match with me. We spend each week going to Twinky Flatts to find me new quarters so I can be closer to services, when I told him that the effort was in vein since, what little low income housing there was, was bottled up tighter than a turtles pecker. Just none. So far I have seen a real shrink 3 times and nothing has advanced so far, except the concept of putting me on medicine called Seroquel. As far as my therapy plan, shit, what plan? We are not much closer, if at all, to getting things put together with another SSA Payee, or me being my own payee. The place in Buhl was pure luck and a prayer, done by me, not Alliance or the PSR. It just boggles the mind. Its the same thing I ran into, interviewing new on air talent for the radio werx. Only one who took the time to research knew enough to have intelligent conversations on the topics that the station was putting on the air. Even then it took a lot to get our Nurse GoodBody to get on the air. The only one that took the ball and ran with it, with explicit language was Emme Lou. With the rest it was Hush? But it took too long with little results. With the Internet, and all , even if someone is not an expert on a certain subject etc, all it takes is doing some serious homework, looking it up on the Internet and coming to work , with some sort of knowledge. Not being or looking like Jethro Bodine, going to the Mustang Ranch for the first time.  Any flyte its 04:25 hours time for this old Wolf to go to sleep, but I ask, with all the intelligence gathering tools at our disposal these days, how can anyone be so stupid? Or uneducated?

1 commercial per episode of a TV show

Wouldn’t be keen as green if the local network affiliates only ran one commercial during network or even a syndicated local TV show? I watch tons of TV both on the regular TV as well as through my computer on line. What I truly love is the online streaming versions of my favorite TV shows, that are free to watch by the way, only run 1 maybe two at the very most commercials. Which means no loss of train of thought, or a magic moment. The local TV stations run maybe one or two network ads then a bunch of locally produced if they can produce TV ads that are full of crap few would want to buy anyway. The few local advertisers that many local stations can muster up have a great message, but few way too conservative TV stations in our area will run a racy or spicy TV ad for a local sponsor, yet will allow the network to run as racy or as spicy an ad as they can. I have always said, decency is only as deep as the money being spent on an ad campaign. I’ll bet you , your next oil change, that if I or the AyreWolvez had went into our local CW and said we are going to spend several thousand bucks a month, the Model search project would have went on with no reservations whatsoever. But that said, it does make one wonder. Not trying to dethrone or say anything bad about or too, our local CW stations GM , as I think he for an associate is really cool, its the attitude of the station he fell into, that has had a distaste in their mouths for the club, ever since it was formed in 1982. As progressive as Twinky Flatts has became, its a shame some things, and some attitudes never change. But at least I can watch good TV online, without the grime from local TV stations.

How can you buy local, when no one will sell it to you?

Every day I see on our local CW one of the two still analog channels still available in my area. A ad for the local business’s saying buy local. Don’t buy from the Internet, and try to not buy from the big box stores but from local retailers. I agree with that, but that said, how can you buy local when no one will sell to you? More over why blame me and/or the AyreWolvez/Knytes-of-Anarchy for not buying ad time, when the TV station is the one that drops the ball? Thing is, I called our local CW Affiliate to buy ad time. Most advertisers don’t call, they are visited by sales crews all day, and most need to be convinced, first. Okay fine; So I call our CW station here, and guess what ? After I don’t know how many times I called I kept getting the runaround. Nothing new about that as our local CW is also ran by another station that was once the only TV station in the valley and still is the only full service TV station in the area. That is about to change, but for this blog entry we’ll stick the local CW station. Now its not that our local station here cain’t do the job , its that when it comes to putting a pitch model on an ad, they are so bassackewords that they cain’t see straight. Its called staying safe so other sponsors will not boycott the station and not buy time. Rather loose one than many. In that frame of mind, think this; it’s not the lack of money that keeps us from going from square one on our advertising at the local CW station, its not that we are retreating, its the fact that the local CW station refuses to move forward, because of some Victorian frame of thought that putting a honey on an ad with Military warbirds that keeps the operation from moving forward. Yet I was promised two meetings yesterday, from our local CW station’s ad ales crew. One backed out, the other was cancelled by the GM of our local station.

Anyone that does business with both my company or the club knows that money is distributed through a chain of command. For my company, the written signed agreement is sent to Cuzzin Bud, who then disburses the check to the who ever we are doing business with, in this case the local CW station. For the club, the money is distributed from the treasurer in California, once they get again the written signed contract from the firm we are dealing with, in this case it’d be our local CW station. Yes this system does take time and is frustrating at times, but no one has ever left empty handed. Mom and Dad had the brains years ago to structure things this way. Yes I have been disappointed a few times, but its also why both AyreWolf Aviation/Dixie Towing has stayed in business and has survived when many have went under. Likewise, its why the AyreWolvez/Knytes-of-Anarchy has stayed organized and operational when other clubs of the same vein have disbanded.

Our local CW station says when we get serious give them a call, fine, but its not us pulling the plug, its them. No I’m not blaming anyone for none completion of a project here. But how can you finish something when those your doing business refuse to even start?

Maybe our local CBS/CW station here needs to practice what they promote. I’d buy local if only they’d sell to me. But when a national network will allow us to buy from them , what choice do we have? Just boggles the mind.
