Damn some folks are noisy

AYRE TRAFFIC HEADER ATC 2

When I was in military service, waking up at 05:00 Hours was no big deal infact it was purtty much routine. Now that I have am reassigned(retired) I am woken up by railroad trains running through town at a more that usual average legal speed blowing that confounded horn for at least a mile from any crossing. Just as I got used to that I have a construction company just outside the door with heavy gears banging and crunching at 06:00 hours until at minimum 17:50 hours. The usual quiet quarters and mostly quiet town of Bliss Idaho are anything but quiet. In fact its downright noisy. I think there’s going to be a meeting of the minds at the next city council meeting on both issues as well as lifting the Jake brake restriction. I for one think that if railroad trains can muscle through town and blow that horn for safety, then a truck can have the Jake brake engaged for safety as well. After all if kids are on railroad tracks, they most obviously will figure out that to get out of the way of that train. Unless they are completely stupid. By the same idea that horn is not just for safety, its a naissance.  However there is more of a chance of a kid crossing the cross walk in front of the school in Bliss, than there is for danger on that RR crossing. If trains can blast a horn, a trucker should be able to keep that Jake brake on as well, as both are safety items. Both make noise.

Okay the goose don’t match the gander. Talked with the CEO at KMVT, he’s all green on us advertising, but not in support of the Poster girl gig. His reservation is as he put it , is not to exploit women. Okay, but the CW runs America’s Next Top Model, and didn’t the same station do a area talent search with a car dealer out of MHI for ANTM ? Which is the difference? Bottom line we have to not only produce the commercial, but recruit the on camera talent, and basically do it ourselves. My thought, if we have to do the entire thing ourselves, might as well put on our own station. Of course we produce commercials anyway, but its the same Idea, if they opened the door, for one should they not open the door for both? The ball is in our court, and I’ll still pledge us for the same gig, but should it be this hard? The same station runs promos for doing business here in our area, rather than going outside the reclusive area, yet try to do business here with a radical concept and it’s noo cain’t do that. Do we have to show everyone that things can be done, even despite them? I guess that’s what it means to be the Wolvez in amongst the sheep.
